Discount Tickets
Discount tickets are available to: pupils, students (up to 26 years of age), doctoral students, teachers, individuals over 65, retirees, pensioners, and individuals with special needs who may occupy a numbered seat in the audience, provided they have a document entitling them to a discount.
Tickets for unreserved seats (non-reservation tickets / rush tickets)
• Non-reservation tickets are available at the Theatre box office one hour before the performance. For performances on The Jerzy Grzegorzewski Stage at Wierzbowa and the Studio Stage, a maximum of two tickets per person may be purchased.
• Students at state-run art schools are entitled to special admission tickets priced at 15 PLN for all National Theatre performances. A document entitling them to a discount must be presented upon purchase. One non-reservation ticket is available per document entitling someone to a discount.
• Priority regarding purchasing non-reservation tickets, which entails purchasing tickets 90 minutes before an Event, is available to: National Theatre employees, employees of other theatres, members of ZASP and ZZAP, and individuals with special needs who use wheelchairs and cannot occupy numbered seats in the auditorium, provided they have documents entitling them to a discount. One discount document is valid for one ticket. The number of tickets available for sale 90 minutes before the Event is limited.
The Theatre does not accept reservations for these non-reservation tickets, except for individuals with special needs who use wheelchairs and cannot occupy numbered seats in the audience, and for their caregivers.
Invitations
Audience members who have received invitations to the Theatre are asked to collect them no later than 15 minutes before an Event begins. Invitations not collected by the deadline specified above are automatically cancelled, and the tickets associated with the invitation are placed on sale.
At the request of an audience member, tickets purchased for an Event can be transferred to invitation forms at the Theatre box office during opening hours. Purchased tickets remain in the Theatre's accounting records.
The invitation includes the Event title, Event date, Event start time, and row and seat information.
Vouchers
A voucher is an open ticket to any performance from the National Theatre's repertoire, subject to availability. It is exchangeable once for a ticket(s) for a seat in any price zone for any performance from the Theatre's repertoire, provided that tickets are sold by the National Theatre. Vouchers can be purchased and exchanged at the Theatre box office or online via the website bilety.narodowy.pl. A commission is added to the price of vouchers sold online. Vouchers that are not exchanged for tickets do not entitle you to watch a performance or sit in the auditorium.
The Theatre offers vouchers for both one person and two people.
Vouchers are priced at: 150 PLN (a voucher for one person), 300 PLN (a voucher for two people).
Vouchers have a specific expiration date, which is printed on the voucher. The Theatre sells vouchers for one person and vouchers for two people, which are valid for 180 days from the date of purchase, as well as vouchers for one person, valid according to their validity period, from January 1 to June 30 or from July 1 to December 31.
Vouchers can be exchanged for tickets both at the Theatre box office and online. Vouchers for one person are exchangeable for one ticket, while vouchers for two people can be exchanged for two tickets.
Vouchers for specific events can be exchanged at the Theatre box office no later than 15 minutes before an Event begins. Vouchers can be exchanged online no later than 2 hours before an Event begins. For certain selected Events, the Theatre reserves the right to change the online sales closing time. The Theatre will announce the change to an online sales closing time on the website, www.narodowy.pl.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for a ticket/s to an Event if:
— the price of a full-price ticket for a given performance exceeds the purchase price of a voucher for one person,
— the purchase price of a voucher for two is lower than the sum of the prices of two full-price tickets for the selected performance, or
— if, by decision of the Theatre, as notified by the Theatre via its website, tickets for a given Event cannot be exchanged for a voucher.
The Theatre will not refund the difference if the price of a full-price ticket for an Event is lower than the value of the voucher for one person, or if the sum of the prices of two full-price tickets for the selected Event is lower than the value of the voucher for two.
Vouchers cannot be reserved.
The Theatre is not responsible for damaged or lost vouchers, or tickets exchanged for a voucher, or for vouchers made available to third parties, or if their verification is impossible due to issues with a mobile device's display. In such cases, the Theatre will, if possible, facilitate the purchase of non-reservation tickets to the Event. The Theatre does not issue duplicate vouchers or duplicate tickets exchanged for vouchers.
Vouchers and tickets exchanged for vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event of an Event’s cancellation, the redeemed voucher will be reactivated and may be exchanged for a ticket to another Event.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged after the expiration date. If the voucher cannot be used due to restrictions on the Theatre's repertoire or the current state of the epidemic threat in Poland, its validity will be extended for another six-month period. Please contact us by phone at + 48 22 69 20 604 or + 48 22 69 20 664 or by email at pomoc_bilety@narodowy.pl

Our System for People with Special Hearing Needs
The Bogusławski Hall is equipped with a system of electronic devices to aid hearing. These devices allow people with special hearing needs to listen to the on-stage action individually. Headphones for individual listening can be borrowed from the audience support staff. The installation of the system was made possible thanks to funding from the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON).
Performances in the Bogusławski Hall that include individual listening include: Kordian, Forefathers' Eve, Picnic at Hanging Rock (a new stage adaptation of Joan Lindsay's novel), Mary Stuart, Alice's Wonderland, King Lear, Faust, Hamlet, and The Polish Thermopylae.
Seating for audiences with special mobility needs and wheelchair users
We are glad to cater for audience members with special mobility needs to help them attend performances in the Bogusławski Hall, on The Jerzy Grzegorzewski Stage at Wierzbowa, and on the Studio Stage. We kindly ask that you inform us of your needs when purchasing tickets, or when making a reservation by phone on +48 22 69 20 604, or +48 22 69 20 664, or by email at pomoc_bilety@narodowy.pl. This will allow us to ensure your visit is properly organised.
Tickets for wheelchair users and their caregivers are available for direct purchase and for phone reservation. Due to the seating arrangement at each performance, the number of wheelchair-accessible seats is limited.
Wheelchair users with special mobility needs who cannot occupy a numbered seat in the auditorium, and their caregiver, are entitled to purchase tickets at the non-reservation ticket price. Tickets at this price can be reserved by phone, but are only available for direct purchase on the day of the performance one hour before the performance.
Wheelchair users with special mobility needs who can occupy a numbered seat in the auditorium, and their caregiver, are entitled to purchase discounted tickets.
Quiet Room
Our Quiet Room was created for people who need calm, stress relief, and a less intense environment. It is primarily used by people with special needs, including disabilities such as those on the autism spectrum, as well as those who experience sensory oversensitivity and require relaxation and quiet.
The room features two soft poufs, noise-cancelling headphones, and small relaxation balls (to squish). Neutral, subdued colours, sensory-friendly materials, and adjustable, soft lighting help reduce tension and anxiety, and facilitate concentration.
Only one person can occupy the room at a time, but in special situations, a second person can join them, if their presence supports the quietening process (e.g. a parent with children under 13), as well as people with special needs who are in the theater under the supervision of a caregiver.
The Quiet Room is located in the National Theatre building at 3 Teatralny Square, on the fourth floor, near the foyer of the Bogusławski Auditorium. It is clearly marked and audience support staff will be happy to show you the way. It is available free of charge to ticketed audience members for that day's performance in the Bogusławski Auditorium, one hour before the performance and during intermissions.
Audience members using the Quiet Room are required to:
1) maintain silence, turn off the sound signals on their cell phones, and refrain from making phone calls,
2) listen to music only through headphones,
3) maintain order and cleanliness in the room,
4) not wear any footwear while in the room,
5) respect others and the property of others, as well as property belonging to the Theater.
Users of the quiet room are prohibited from:
1) bringing in or consuming food, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes (including electronic cigarettes), or using other stimulants in the room,
2) spraying fragrances and deodorants,
3) using devices that emit noise,
4) using items for purposes other than their intended purpose. Those who break this rule will be responsible for covering the cost of any damage,
5) removing equipment from the room.
Failure to comply with the above rules by those using the Quiet Room entitles the Theater to ask them to leave the room.
Note: For your own safety, the Quiet Room should not be used by anyone who is feeling unwell, experiencing dizziness, nausea, or fainting symptoms, as their isolation may delay the provision of assistance.

Note: Performances begin on time. The theatre reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving late. This rule also applies to audience members who are late for the next act of any performance, i.e. those entering the auditorium after the intermission.
